Default Gish livestream.

Will feature unreleased music from the Gish era as well as possible Machina II sips of mercury.

All of the music livestreams I’ve watched during pandemic times have been free. Just wondering for those who have paid for some - how does the $19.91 price compare? Weezer had one recently and I don’t remember the price but it was too much for my taste. I think this one is, too.

Also Weezer’s was a concert. This is just the Q&A and some recordings, I believe.

Oh jeez I had no idea it was a paid livestream. The Gish shirt is wildly un-Gish like, no? And yeah, what the hell is up with the website? Popped up an actual cool long sleeve and then no amount of scrolling could get it back.

Don't worry - SELECT proceeds will go to Paws Chicago.

The Rolling Stone interview starts off with some pure Gish gold, then it turns into the usual retcon and moronic attitudes and then towards the end this happens:

Quote:
Can I ask if you’re vaccinated?
I don’t talk about that stuff.

Is he an anti-vax?! Just when you thought it couldn't get any more pathetic.

i've watched some free, some pay -- it doesn't really matter in the end to me, paying the artist [hopefully] $20 doesn't change the fact that you're sitting at home listening on headphones

I agree the Gish heart shirts are pretty cool. I haven’t felt this good about an SP shirt I won’t buy since the MCIS Wingdings sweater. Seeing those Snail lyrics printed out is pretty cringe. They always sounded more sensical b/c he delivered them with passion. Anyways for 65 (plus what is surely very high shipping) you think they could throw in some tea bags or an obelisk.

This interview is painful. He intentionally destroyed his legacy in 2009 and complained that the past is for losers, and now he's desperately attempting to remind everyone how important they were and all the influential names who *secretly* love SP behind closed-doors.

And which contemporary band is he talking about making old music? Foo Fighters?

IIRC, Weezer was $20.00 for the livestream only, and $60 for the livestream with the Q&A included, which I believe also came with a t-shirt.

Will this thread devolve into a discussion about how much better Weezer live streams are?

Stay tuned!
