Honestly, I don't really care if the "final" Metro show is the one included with this or not, mainly because it's not even truly the "final" anything - it was the final time the Auf Der Mar line-up played together. I'm pretty firmly in the Arising Show camp but of course if he wants to put Metro out whenever or however imma watch it

It represents the finality of the original band, for a lot of folks. Auf De Maur not withstanding, it really was the "last gasp" of the band as we knew it.

Either way, it was integral to that period of time, the tour, concept, etc and it just makes sense to me for them to release it with this reissue. He's said as much on several occasions. But... we know how that goes.

The "last" Metro show is simply too long for the Machina deLuxe reissue. They normally contained one DVD.
If he doesn't put it on Blu Ray, this concert may need 2 or 3 DVD's...

This project will already contain more CD's than the other boxes.

Notes (seen in the far right column) were listed at the time, and come from whomever was the engineer that day or as designated by the producer. To put this data in context, this is for an as yet complete version or Sunshowers; as there were others (I think there were 3 to 4 different, distinct versions of this song alone). And over the course of the sessions, between rehearsals, demos, false starts, and songs we were rehearsing for the Arising tour, we covered some 60-70 songs and that doesn’t cover a riff idea or us joking around. Counting those puts the ideas total closer to 100 ‘songs’

The artist was using some machina stuff on bass drum heads and skateboards that he was selling. I bet it was something to do with licensing. JC still has some of the original work so i don't think it's a purely aesthetic switch up - especially as they don't seem to have anyone in particular in mind for the redo...
