I’m not one to care here, but how is that an indie album?

By the way my favorite indie album is everything by *NSYNC

I listened to the entirety of MCIS today after this post. It's been a long while since I've actually digested the entire thing in one sitting. It is absolutely mind blowing that this is the same dude that made Cyr and Shiny. MCIS really is on another level.

The dynamics, the breadth of material, the rawness, the grunge pop elements. It's really unbelievable he was able to achieve everything he did on this record.

if i'm ever on a plane or something i'll listen thru to MCIS. i know these songs ostensibly by heart and it helps 2.5 hrs go by

the amount of texture and shit to notice in there is amazing. it's such a rich, well done experience. i have my iTunes in the original vinyl order, the 5 LPs at various stages of the sun setting, including tonite reprise and infinite sadness

i don't care about whatever story/character shit he made up in 2020, the album is so good just as glimpses of different moods at different times of day. now we drive the night....the night has come to hold us young....the indescribable moments of your life, tonight, tonight....i fear that i am ordinary....i bleed for me and mine....there's a sun, it'll come, the sun, i hear them call me down....nobody nowhere understands anything about me and all my dreams lost at sea
