Default Any Smashing Pumpkin-y sounding albums released this year?

I'm kinda curious if there were any albums released this year that somewhat resembled the older Pumpkins albums.

i think i heard one or 2 chords on the new Secret Machines disc that were used on old Pumpkins. Maybe also checkout The Life And Times, Centaur.

Centaur released an album this year?

Also I know The Life and Times has an album scheduled for release this year but is that out yet?

oh, just 2008....sorry. neither of those are this year. just Secret Machines then...and they don't really sound "like SP". but there's some thick distortion rock soft-loud-soft moments, if that qualifies.

i dunno dude...it hink this is kinda a stupid question. there's no Carnavas II if thats what you'relooking for.

the Chiodos vocalist sounds a lot like billy a lot of the time.
it's kinda weird.

I dont know what the bands status is or releases, but they have some good tracks among the mess.

That was Mallow. The new Boutros Bubba has moments of pure SD bliss.
Really, with any Mallow (pre-BB) or BB, you cannot go wrong.
