ZACH is rad. The goodness of it is immediate. I haven't even spun ATUM yet, since the box arrived. I just keep flippin' ZACH, even though it's a pain, with 5 7" discs. Some of the tunes invoke those mellow Twilight to Starlight vibes for me, in addition to the reference points others have mentioned (Cotillions, American Gothic). This sounds more like a MCIS sequel than ATUM. Also, something i haven't seen anyone mention yet, lyrically ZACH is leagues above other recent releases. Clearer delivery of better lyrics. You will all hate it. |

Changing my mind on the last two songs. they're nice and complement the flow of the record.
shiny part 3 > part 1 and 2 (cyr). Magdalena is easily a top 5 if not #1 tune from this whole period of songs. Should be it's own single. |

come on guys, this is straight dogshit. no amount of good instrumentation can save a song with Billy’s new singing. i cannot get over how bad his voice sounds, at this point it’s unforgivable. I’m sorry guys but I’m just getting filtered by any new sp song since 2007, stay safe tho.
