i listened to it a few times but still haven't allowed myself to get fully invested until its available in higher quality. still only that 1 version and derivatives of it available atm.

it's still 'ok' and 'pretty good' i haven't felt the desire to go back back to listen to Zodeon since May tho

Same. I even made a playlist of the "better" songs and was happy to get into it but I haven't gone back to it. I listened to Zodian probably three times in total, no huge desire to go back to it.

This is what happens when you try to make facile, "contemporary" music, Bill. People listen to it a handful of times then move on to the next thing. It doesn't last. It's not music for the ages.

what.cd shut down years ago. there is a big bounty on a request for it on redacted, which is a successor to what.cd, but it's not been fulfilled yet

iirc there was a more HQ one on soulseek but being HQ honestly hurt it -- you could hear the dryness of the recording and the horribleness of corgan's vocals more clearly. the 128kbps version sort of hid it and made it feel smoother

in that state (and, i imagine, if they were to play it live, amps on stage, no jeff, in a room together) it is a legitimate Good Album too
