I wouldn't go so far as calling it "disgusting". I mean it's pretty lame if these fans that he talks to after shows constantly yell out mindless agreements, but at least they aren't disagreeing with him.

It would be pretty rude of someone to act like a jerk to the man, especially when he is going out of his way and doing something nice for them, like talking to them after the show.

I don't really blame the people for sucking up to Billy Corgan a little to his face...I mean it's the first and probably last time they will ever get to see their idol that up close and personal. What would be the point in acting like an asshole?

bill likes to talk. he often does come off as pretty self absorbed but i think in that he's just being more honest than most. he doesn't feign humility at least not that i've seen, and it makes him an easy target, which feeds into a moderate [imo] persecution complex. it's sorta annoying sometimes, but forgivable. if you wanna be critical, you should also ask yourself how you would act if you were in a position such as his.
