I saw him perform a week after the Columbine shootings. Churches in my home town demonstrated in front of the arena and screamed and yelled at people going inside. I think the show was sold out, but half the arena was empty, and all the corporate luxury boxes were closed, which is odd for any event there.

I brought my 14 year old sister to the show. She loved Manson at the time. I thought his whole schtick was kinda boring. Arriving center stage on a cross made of TVs is kind of meh. But wow did he piss people off.

Apparently in addition to using parental outrage as a media driver for his CD sales, he was also grooming and abusing young women.

Amber Heard, yeah, it's crazy how she can still get millions of dollars doing talks on domestic violence when there is literal audio evidence of her being an abuser and gaslighter herself. Op-eds in respected media outlets still treat her as a hero. WB dropped Depp from the Harry Potter movie or whatever, but Heard is still playing Mera in the movies, and they even want to give her her own HBO spinoff.
