pretty excited to hear Lost Wisdom, didn't know it leaked yet.
Dawn is pretty good, though some of those songs reached perfection in other incarnations(Great Ghosts - Live in Japan, Woolly Mammoth - Seven New Songs).
should be seeing him again the 18th of next month. last time i did, david byrne was checking out some of his albums.

dawn is pretty boring. i like finally having a recorded version of some of the songs he's been playing on shows for the past 4 years, but in general getting less and less enthusaistic over the guy. haven't heard lost wisdom though. no flashlight ended up growing on me so while its good its still a significant tier below his prime material.

The black wooden... album was really cool I thought. Looking forward to hearing dawn. I wish he'd come down here with a decent merch set up.

well you were listening to RHCP when the glow pt 2 came out but for those of us who got into the microphones before the turn of the century and didn't find them out from pitchfork lore, the impact of the album was probably more transcedental whereas you're just going back and picking.

hey dck

i've been listening to the glow pt 2 since about a year after it came out

just because pitchfork says the glow is a 9 or whatever, and no flashlight is a 6, doesnt mean it's true
