information has been released by the Los Angeles Police Department providing further background on the factors involved in Anne Heche's near fatal car crash last week. While it was widely speculated that Heche had been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash, tests of her blood performed at the hospital show signs of cocaine and fentanyl, according to TMZ.

Kind of sucks that public opinion today is generally "It was cruel to laugh at Britney being 'crazy' in the 2000s, and the result of a deeply sick tabloid culture," but it doesn't seem like people ever connected this to our perception of Heche, at least if the amount of "what a crazy bitch" reactions I'm seeing on social media are any indication

I mean, it was in her blood. That doesn't necessarily means she was high on it at the time.

She probably was. But it would still be in her blood if she took it the day before.

sure, i guess my reason for specifying it doesn't necessarily mean she was high is for all the other people who are assumed to be under the influence when they may not actually have been. you know, awareness that drugs in blood = currently high is not necessarily true

in the real world (boston), genesis calls herself a "lipstick lesbian" and i assumed it's because she's pretty and wears makeup at a time there is still the dumb stereotype of all lesbians being butch-y

Chapstick lesbian is supposed to refer to being somewhere between femme and butch, to use popular terms. Lipstick lesbian would be more traditionally feminine looking, like those who wear makeup and heels, etc. Butch lesbians are obviously the opposite, short hair, masculine clothes etc.

Please realize I'm heavily aware that this is stereotyping, I am just trying to explain. Don't come for me, I'm not always up to date on my terminology.

Apparently it's out of fashion to use the term bisexual now, which is the only label I've ever used. I am sure there are multiple new words used to describe any exact sexuality with narrow parameters, but they just don't feel as cool as bi does.
