interesting how well the bass outlines the song, I don't think someone who "can't play" could follow along on their instrument that way unless someone told her exactly what to play

Cupid into Galapagos is one of those runs that really separates SP from the sea of garbage that surrounded them

People legit think she couldn't play because Billy said so constantly. As if Billy is a good source on anything. I've watched the old band play so many live shows, I know she can play. Billy did the same shit with James too, who's one of my favorite guitarists and an amazingly emotional player. Jimmy is the only one of the OGs he gave any credit to, and how could he not seeing as Jimmy is maybe the greatest drummer of all time. The reason Billy always had problems with D'Arcy is because he couldn't control her and she was brutally honest with him. That's it.

they have some bassline gems even if they're rarely complicated.
