Who fuckin cares about this shit? It's called the music business! Most other bands do this stuff too but it's not considered selling out. All of us try to be the best as possible and make as much as possible....that's called life! If you don't, then you are selling yourself short!

Geeze.....you'd think you faggots would at least be happy with new music from the Pumpkins, instead you all bitch and compalin about everything. For how bad the album is as you all say, it must be better than you say because you fags are still here every single day.

I like the new album alot. It's a good solid album....

Thumbs down fucking crybabies

If Billy sold out, Zeitgeist would have been full of 1979's, Today's, Disarm's, and Bullet's. He's making the music he wants to make with the people he wants to make it with. Get over it. People say he is selling out because his isn't doing what they wish he was doing. I look past the multiple album shit as a "state of the music business" thing (BTW he doesn't own Warner or Reprise). If you don't like it, don't buy 10 copies. They aren't forcing you to buy their rainbow of Zeitgeist. I agree this album wasn't worth all the hype, but at least it was a solid album with potential. I'm still a fan and look forward to the next concert and the next album.

people just don't seem to understand that things like the multiple album versions, ford commercials, etc, aren't in the artists control. There are things called record companies and publishers. Being signed with one of the "big four" isn't helping his sell out image, but its not his fault for it. Its not billy's job to distribute in whatever CD formats sells the most records, its universal's. He is the musician, the rest is in someone else's hands.

I don't see why they just don't sign to an indy record label or start their own. Pull a radiohead and put everything in your command.

I agree with Billy.

When i heard they were having a new album i was really really scared they were gonna sell out with some shit thats trying to be all modernized but i was actually really pleasantly surprised with Zeitgeist. Sure theres a few week spots but theres also some gems.

And he still rocks it as hard as ever live, Billy corgans the only guy from the 90s who still fucking rocks!

I'm sure CorganRules is a troll but here I go anyway. Great, you like the new album a lot (notice that's actually TWO words by the way), I dig it myself. The point of this thread is about selling out.

Quite frankly, releasing 4 different versions of a record and then releasing another version is selling out, I don't give a shit which band does it. All this bullshit about the record company being responsible for it is bollocks. If Billy weren't down with it he would have said something. He can be a pretty vocal guy most all the time so he clearly has no problem with this. For fucks sake, this band sold out years ago, doesn't mean you can't still dig 'em.

Go ahead and call me a fag now. Are you fucking 12 years old and living in 1994? If you aren't a troll, you have no idea how idiotic you sound trying to use that to call someone a name you naive prick.

Ahhh, that's been building for a long time.

You all will sold out in your lifes if you can, so stfu.
I bet 99% of you here will sold out much more faster and deeper than Billy would anytime..

What do you want from Billy, a God? Who just do music for "pure love"? This doesnt exist, and never did...

I'm just sad Billy maybe was afraid to put 100% his emotional side on Zeitgeist, but I respect him and I kinda understand... for the first return album he couldnt do another mega depressive album heh... it will just sound annoying and ridiculous maybe.... unfortunately.

p.s my english sucks, thanks btw.

Isn't Martha's Music something Billy owns? It's listed as a label.

Never seen Deftones, but SP rocks harder than NIN and Tool live.

Partially because SP doesn't play NIN and Tool-size arenas (in the US at least...)

Whatever! You finally came out of your shell? You afraid to speak to me or something? A trol? What a joke you guys are. Trying to make money is not selling out! Whatever profession you are in you will want to make money becayse its the nature of us humans wanting to make as much money as possible. If that's what you homo's selling out, then all you mofo's are selling yourself short! Who doesn't want to make more money? I sure would love to.

Get over the 4 copies. Who gives a shit? It's called marketing folks! I bought one cd and the rest of you should have as well. I have no problem with my favorite band trying to make some extra money.

Billys a sell out huh? How much music does he have out there in his music vailt that all of us have been truing to hear for years? Tons! If he wanted to sell out, he could go down different roads. The man isn't in it for the money 1st at all. He could sell all of these songs and make tons and never have to make any new music for the rest of his life, yet he doesn't.

Billys is on a much different level than the rest of music these days. It's just too bad when his own fans don't appreciate him anymore!
