Hit 30 pounds down since January. Would like to lose just a bit more in some stubborn areas.

just do lunges until your legs give out, then do planks. Add chest press and standing row if you are feeling ambitious.

just doing something, anything, regularly, even if its only a couple times a week, is good. Go walk around your block, do 10 push-ups. Get on the stationary bike or elliptical and watch Judge Judy

also don't compare your body to other people's bodies because they're all dramatically different in so many ways. Do what feels right and good for your body, but do SOMeTHING. Start sloooooow, watch your form, whatever it is you're doing, stretch properly, breathe, pay attention to what your body is telling you

I can't suss out from your post if you are working out in order to lose weight because I was gonna advise against working out right away.

Getting diet under control would be a good first step to losing weight, but I digress because you could already be in good shape, weight wise.

Sorry, my posts are like having a seizure or stroke is what ppl have said ha ha

So, but the jist is ive been predominantly sedentary b/c multitude factors but mostly mental illness and lack of time and lack of $ to like do gyms or get decent equipment for home

But now finally have an opportunity to do this living intentionally thing where getting fit is part of the minfulness practice of being here, in our lonely individual brainsacks?

And my body feels like a sack of floppy sorta achy yknow

Just wanna get it moving a bit

Ready to give up beer or milk shakes yknow? And don’t really care if i have visible abs ever again. Just don’t want to die at 57 of a heart attack b/c of the couch and mental illness and weed and food and the couch and booze and despair etc

I got pretty fat, but not because of the pandemic. I was just a lazy asshole and ballooned up to 240+ by Jan. 2021. Been walking my ass off & eating right and weighed in at 175 this morning.

I've been putting on muscle, but because I'm too much of a fatass to put down the fork, I've only really transitioned from skinnyfat to dadbod.

"Dadbod" is impressive for men of dadly age, because it shows they can still keep somewhat strong despite the rigors of being a parent. But being dadbod when you're not even a dad is less impressive. It just means I lift heavy things a few times a week, which isn't the hard part. The hard part is having good eating habits 24/7, and I fail at that.

Ectomorphs make some noooooooooooooooise

I don't think I ever put on weight, just a) lost a bunch when getting off a terrible med, which was a good month or so of hell, and b) definitely ate like shit because I've got a belly now

I'm inching closer to my pre-pandemic weight, which was probably a little low to begin with, actually working out for the first time in... god I don't want to think about how fucking long it's been

I’ve been doing InBody scans which makes it super satisfying to see results besides weight. I’ve dropped 15 pounds while gaining muscle at the same time, and saw my fat percentage go from 16.5 to 12. It uses electrical resistance of some kind on your bare skin to measure and takes only a few seconds. They have one at my GNC but you can search online

I’ve been lifting weekly for almost 3 years. Had a bad left elbow injury 4 years ago that screwed me up and it’s been a process to get back in shape, so I was working with really light dumbbells. Basically anything that put any strain on my left arm would aggravate it and give me bad tendinitis.

The whole time I’ve been working out I’ve been losing weight because evidently I don’t eat enough.
