The pickups on the jazzmaster sound the best in a band setting. I’ve been paying close attention to this. The note seperation and clarity from jazzmaster pickups are better than strats and teles whilst in the mix. When you put Teflon tape around the “floating bridge” posts it no longer is wonky so long as you aren’t cranking on the trem like the testosterone filled boy you are
