Corgan seems to self-identify as a goth (even though gothic rock is just one genre amongst many that his music takes some cues from and his output as a whole can't really be characterized as "goth"), so yeah, "creeping" would fit with his tall pale spooky-man stage aesthetic.

But somebody at the pitch meeting probably already suggested it, and Corgan probably already shot it down because he doesn't want to invite any more comparisons to Uncle Fester.

Two, the comment from a "Dr. Sean" on that article, "The Siamese Dream sounds like it could be a pretty solid sleeper hold," is a good joke

Oh I know, but I still think this happened.

I'd be surprised if the NWA is even in the top 10 most watched wrestling promotions worldwide. I'd say he's running it at a loss and that's not likely to change.

WWE is the goliath, AEW is a very comfortable 2nd and TNA probably sits 3rd. Then you have the WWE-controlled NXT and the AEW-controlled ROH.

But that's only the "western" world - you can also consider NJPW and AJPW in Japan, CMLL and AAA in Mexico - all of which wrestling fans will seek out.

NWA probably sits somewhere in the next tier and it doesn't really have any wow factor, or even any "try it" factor. It was good to begin with but for numerous reasons it fell off a cliff and soon became unwatchable.

I don't know what his plans are for it - it might just be his "rich mans hobby" as a fan, or it might be that he hopes one day that a WWE/AEW might buy the historic brand name from him for the purposes of tape libraries. I'd say that's his only shot at making money from it, and it's unlikely at best and as the years go on, even less so.
