This song has some potential. I haven't heard it since it was leaked online about a week before release. His voice is just so horrifyingly terrible. The shrill, nasally nails on a chalkboard timber and those warbled vibratos are just so painfully bad. This song is a good example of present day Corgan's inability to make something lastingly impressionable. It has a cool little sonic hook for about 3-5 seconds in a FULL song. There is something within, but he never really finds it for me. Lastly, his production is so inauthentic. Sux.

Billy's vocals so high and unfiltered in the mix really makes me angry. Like, almost irrationally so. I think its because he was like the KING of beautiful feathery soft vocals and iconic angsty snarl. Now its just sandpaper across my eardrums. So, I guess these songs do something for me lol.

Honestly, A Song for a Son, at the time it came out. Never thought he'd end up having kids.

The Relisten app doesn’t have everything that’s on the archive.

fuckin' good acoustic concert, I'm not sure I've ever actually heard the song "Riverview" before but already I'd say it's probably the coolest ZWAN/Djali Zwan/Zwan Daddy song I've yet 2 hear

& this version of Desire

I was always a fan of the album version, but this is so good. Feel like Bill stays pretty stoic vocally on a lot of the Zwan stuff but not here. This is like MCIS or Adore level lead vox from the boy

Atum the song. Which shocked me. I thought I might be about to hear a good album.

I wasn’t.

There’s a performance of Desire from December 02 which is better than the album version and I don’t know why exactly but the chorus hits more melancholy, maybe someone musical could explain why it hits different.

I love his vocals here. It's one of the few times in the recent years (I mean since 2001, maybe?) he's not trying to sing like a pop diva. It had that good laziness feeling, like what he does on My Mistake, Annie Dog, Soothe...

Probably Fragile The Spark. It wasn't perfect (the verses are rushed) but that falsetto chorus is a touch of the old magic. Also, the chorus of Aeronaut has that little moment; the "if I'm leaving you" part, and how the strings swell up is really nice. Generally though his vibrato is too much.

About 1.06 into Alienation; that part is VERY MCIS. That's the vibe he should've gone for with Atum.

All that's left to say is "swoooon". That's about it.

I agree, his vocals here are really nice and un-self conscious.

Perhaps FOL, and more specifically its chorus.
