It's going to be so intense, such an emotional journey, with lots of dynamics and stuff. The vocals are high in the mix.

Acoustic song with annoying synth pulling focus. No drums, sounds like Jimmy is finally making use of that "clap stack" he had setup on his kit in the studio.
Sounds like a filler track, does nothing for me. |

Lots of words but utterly impossible to work out most of them, almost sounds like a different language

Doing a tarot birth reading for the album Gish… Gemini something about hands… Jimmy drums with his arms & hands, signifies he’s important for the album… don’t forget Billy has a Gemini moon…. Just WHAT THE FUCK YOU IDIOTS.
Diana also has some of the same vocal mannerisms as Billy… did he pick them up from her? Honestly, insufferably stupid. Bully putting any credence in this shit is mind-blowing. Wow. Dumb dumb dumb. |

ATTENTION BILLY
you were asked to APOLOGIZE for your past bullying just saying "yeah maybe I was a bully in the past, so I'm kind of an expert so stop bullying me and listen to me" I'm paraphrasing... but having been a bully doesn't qualify you an expert in any sort. you're response was totally tone deaf. you need to apologize. publicly. the idea of apologizing for your sins is where the redemption comes from. How do you assume you get a story of redemption by simply letting time pass makes good on your bullying??? It doesn't. You can't rewrite the story of the hero, as a bully. I'm not surprised that asking you to apologize, you manage to distort into "they're bullying me". No billy. Asking you to apologize is asking you to be a better example. We want to believe in your story of redemption, you don't get a free pass. this isn't bullying. If you're feeling coerced by this post, please log off the internet. I'm allowed value jugements, especially of public figures. If you can't even apologize it's fair to call you out and asy you're full of shit. There's no 'winning' here at my end. Be a hero , the pieces are all laid out, you just have to pick them up and do the right thing.... Last edited by T&T : 03-21-2023 at 11:12 AM. |

Billy thinks the super-structure of Katie vocals and stupid ass synths can make up for the lack of a proper song and it's fucking depressing.

It's funny how I keep waiting for the next tune to be "the one" and they all basically suck.
Even in the context of the concept...they suck. Beguiled is a good monster truck song but that's about it. |

Nobody seriously wished Billy would die in 2009 or whenever, so his legacy would be preserved, nobody ever genuinely thought that - it was just internet troll heel talk. He should enjoy that kinda shit..
All Things Change is decent. New record sounds intriguing. |

It's like a wizard of oz switcharoo where he's behind the curtain with you trying to make you feel special by telling you "there's fools on the other side of this curtain that don't understand I'm not a wizard"... but he gets mad at you if you dare look behind the curtain to see who these 'fools' (the them) are. Billy just wants you to feel special like you're part of his US, by fabricating an THEM. it's a decent concept, but eventually everyone looks behind the curtain - the end of the story is the same: there's no wizard. and in this story, there's no one behind the curtain who thinks billy's a wizard. I love this song. Glad Billy told Howard to kick rocks on whatever it was going to be in the “modern age” or whatever.

there's a lot of sections of this podcast that are about protecting his image, trying to explain away things trolls say about him and all that kind of defensive stuff, but i have to say i actually do really love hearing him talk about making music and working in the music business. i am a big fan of his outlook on making new music. i love that he wants to keep creating and experimenting and trying different things. i totally relate to where he's coming from and his outlook on that side of things. i do also enjoy hearing the story behind the atum songs (likely all explained in the story book as well) and find that after i hear that and re-listen to the song, that it does become more enjoyable to me. i don't know the whole story and couldn't recite it but after having done this to most of the songs there is some sort of emotional connection to them that's been built. what makes it easy for me is that there is no stakes here, like SP can put out a shit album and whatever, it doesn't affect my life. so lets go and keep making new shit and who knows which album down the line i might discover like oh shit okay... this is the business. but also luckily for me i love oceania, am enjoying atum a lot, i like a good chunk of cyr and there are definitely multiple tracks from all the other projects that i really like. so there's no losses, only wins. |

hate everything about the 10 seconds I listened to
I also hate how when I click on the louder wavelengths to hear the new song (following the visual hills) the advertisements precede the song. Double punishment. I can't believe some of you are suffering both through the podcasts and these "songs" |

IMO it looks great, has some fun ideas, good effects and kills and all, and is well worth the watch
Though I feel like it doesn't quite get the Cenobites' whole deal, and I keep going back and forth on how much that bugs me |
