yeah bullet is so weak it only peaked at 22 on the top 40 charts as a hard rock song
so goddamn weak the melodies are too catchy and james leads are too tasteful .... gross! |

my hottest take that everyone hates is that i find muzzle legitamately weak both live and in studio
i cant fathom someone preferring muzzle over bwbw from a songwriting perspective |

Legit can't think of any. I think classic pumpkins had a magic vibe in the studio where even kinda meh songs still benefitted from it. Hard to explain.
I can think of a few songs that don't hit the same live as they do on the records, like for example By Starlight, it's really good live but the studio one is just perfect. Edit: Owata was pretty sweet live on the 20th anniversary tour. Studio version is awful. Last edited by LaBelle : 11-23-2022 at 08:40 PM. |

i think like... the best examples are the songs that were already rocking in the studio that got sick ass live arrangements in addition to the point where both are essential
MCIS/adore tour cycles were the best for this... beautiful is a great example,,, but also tonight tonight country version, daphne descends, etc |

muzzle is lame because it references the "june" narritive
Have you ever heard the words I'm singing in these songs? It's for the girl I've loved all along Can a taste of love be so wrong As all things must surely have to end And great loves will one day have to part yuck |

I don't hate the lyrics of BWBW, but I think their over-appearance in pop culture ruined it for me
