Default Nothing about Perry shitting the bed again?

I might be going all boomer on it but a 65 year old man getting fucked up on stage every night is not all that “rock and roll” or “punk rock”.

Especially when it makes you the weakest link.

We decided that the Linkin Park reunion thread was the perfect place to discuss the Jane's Addiction reunion.

We're thinking we might merge any discussion of the Smashing Pumpkins reunion into that thread, too.

Whole thing is a major bummer. They weren't awesome when I saw them open for SP - and it was only 3/4 of the original dudes - but still, they are one of the few remaining 90s bands out there.

And they finally had all 4/4 of the original guys up there, too... a damn shame, even from the vantage point of being a low-medium sized fan.

I had tickets for a show in early October, mainly as I just happened to arrive in the city on the day of the concert- and jumped at the chance (they hadn’t played in my country since 2003), so I’m feeling a little aggrieved that some old man can’t keep his shit together.

Plenty of room to gripe about SP these days for whatever reason, but it could be so much worse.

Yeah, SP may not have achieved Radiohead levels of continued relevance and artistic esteem, but at least they aren't creating an embarrassing spectacle that people are rubbernecking at. Hope Farrell gets the help he needs, but I'm a bit cynical about people's ability to grow and change if they haven't sorted their shit out by the time they are old men.
