I dont feel like a very good DM fan that i honestly did not know until now that this had been a single nevermind that they had a video for it (i watched musiqueplus all he time in those days pretty sure they never aired this which is weird since all the other vids from violator were in heavy rotation back then, i guess it didnt chart well). I always thought it was one of the best if not the best song on violator so i'm glad it WAS a single.

and this video is amazing in a wtf way.

I know i posted about thsi band last year but i thank youtube i one day stumbled about them. i love this band despite its quirks like the accent (russian) and sometimes slightly awkward english and the fact their earlier stuff is sometimes (often) a clear Joy Division rip off. I'm not sure what it is but their music makes me think back on summers of my teens (the only good part of them) Probably because it reminds me of the times i was discovering the bands that clearly influenced them.

So this band features three quarters of Code Orange Kids but they MAKE ME FEEL ALL HAPPY which is awesome cause Code Orange is brilliant but it's the musical equivalent of chugging a pint of orphan teeth and rusty nails.
