OK, first off, yeah, Mason has said this a year ago, and we attempted that for a show or two... but essentially the rest of the band save me stopped caring... But I do agree with you there. Thanks for the constructive criticism, I'll relay this to the others. As you can see, I continue to wear vintage shirts at the shows...

Can you clarify what you mean in your second sentence?

2nd sentence? the audiences will eventually put forth more effort if they see you putting forth more effort. same with promotors, etc. it's not about selling a song it's about selling a lifestyle and that's what people are interested in purchasing.

Ah, OK yeah, that's unfortunately the truth. Ideally, I'd just want to get up there and perform my songs for people, but the reality is that there is more to that and the "we have no image" ethos just does not work anymore.

Yeah so I'm playing guitar in this new band here called Awkward Bodies... It's actually Mason's band I'm playing guitar in, he sings and it's his songs pretty much. I guess we're kinda Sonic Youthy but I'm not really sure. Well anyways, if you are interested, here's our booking demo:

I recorded it live at a rehearsal last week, and Mason overdubbed vocals... I think he recorded them in his car actually. It's not really produced, we tried to keep a more "live sound" type of thing for the booking demo.

Byron, I really like your music. I think you have an issue with vocal melodies though. Trying to be constructive here, they are definitely the weak link in your songs.
