Help me with the chorus of this Chappell Roan song

The first time I heard this one, I was convinced that the chorus (which you first hear at about 0:41) was an interpolation of some existing song. Like that melody—I fuckin' swear I've heard it before. But I've looked it up and no one's mentioning anything like that. Wikipedia's writing credits don't include a name that's out of place.

I was thinking it was something from maybe the 80s or early 90s? But I can't think of the "original" lyrics or who sang it. I'm crazy, right? This doesn't remind anyone of a different song?

The only thing I can think of is that I've unknowingly heard this song a bunch of times? Like in a commercial or a movie or something? I don't listen to the radio or let Spotify suggest stuff, so unless it's used in something, I don't know how I would have heard it before.

Sure, maybe not, and that's fine if you think that, but the fact that she's commonly grouped with singers like Taylor Swift, Charli XCX, and Sabrina Carpenter makes me think otherwise. Oh well, it's really not worth debating. I'll listen to what I want, and you guys can do the same with your music
