I saw Oasis twice (96 and 2002). I wasn't a huge fan, but in the former gig they were on top form - the second gig was them going through the motions. Their last few albums were fairly uneven affairs, and they should have broken up much sooner than they did.

They are also cunts of the highest order who fleeced their fans using ticketmaster's massively unfair system. Fuck them both.

The acoustics around our seats weren't great, and I couldn't really make out what the blokes were blathering about either. But the guy was clearly drunk enough that these details may not have informed his outburst.

with the current ticket-purchasing (or more specifically, ticket-pricing) schemes in place, I'd be more likely to see these blokes on a current tour
