The two albums after Talkie Walkie weren't amazing; Pocket Symphony was sort of like a retread, and while it does have some good moments, a lot of it was indistinct.

Love 2 sounded more like the work of two solo artists more than anything else.

5:55, if you want to view it as a pseudo-Air album, is up there with Talkie Walkie.

There's a vinyl only release called Music for Museum which is a lot more ambient but is really nice. You can hear it on YouTube.

It doesn't seem likely that we're going to get a new Air album any time soon; in a recent interview, Nicolas Godin said they would only do it if it was going to be as good as the old material, and that anything they've tried hasn't been.
