Default so whats with this my little pony thing

i know its mostly a 4chan meme thing and shit like that is expected but i'm seeing it on other forums too.

i just got done watching an episode (er most of it).. i didn;t even enjoy it on an ironic or nostalgic level. how could somebody over the age of 12 sit down and watch a full episode and obsess over it. its starting to come clear why this is the lost generation and people arent finding jobs out of college.

I was at Sears getting my tires mounted and balanced a few months ago, and some cartoon about fairies came on. It was hot.

I explained "you jelly" to my gf yesterday and she said if I'm still into this crap when I'm 30 she'll leave me. I was like "No you won't" and she got this really serious look on her face. LOLOLOLOL

I actually tried to watch an episode as well, I have to say the animation, though reeking of Flash, is pretty good. I can't see any other appeal than that. And I guess the prospect of ponies with tramp stamps and cute voices instantly makes pedos think of naked little girls. And some people just think cuteness = entertainment I guess.

And for some reason, hordes of pedos in denial love the 90% of anime that is 'moe', or basically based around innocent pre-pubescent girls, it's pretty disturbing. Undoubtedly Japan is to blame for all of this.

uh actutally it's because there's more college grads than at any other time in history coupled with the fact that there are far more universities now with far lower standards and students are being passed through and their checks and loans cashed when they have no critical thinking skills, they can't write, they can't speak and are generally just as dumb as any other motherfucker that didn't go to college. This then has a negative effect on the primacy of a bachelor's degree, and makes it far more difficult to stick out in a crowd of retarded people waving liberal arts and communication degrees.

I saw a commercial, it looks like either the guy who did Foster's Home (which is often brilliant) or he's producing it with his style & techniques.

i was joking. but i agree

its kind of funny because i never even finished college and, like, one in three people i know with degrees are still living at home or something. though to their credit i guess they'll earn more than me in the long run

I'm looking at paying student loans until I'm in my mid 40s if this continues. I mean the cost of living and the fact that real wages have been flat for decades is pinching people in their late 20s and early 30s more than ever. Honestly, I think this is one of those parts of the economy that they're all too busy to notice because they're all rich but, that age range is usually the age range that used to buy houses in huge quantities...

well i'm trying to be optimistic on their part. not all of the people i know out of work are liberal arts grads (though most are). some have accounting and business degrees, and i don't see me making more than them in like ten years despite their current state. but it'd be good for me if i'm wrong!

I wish it were acceptable for girls to dress like that every day. If only it didn't completely objectify them and dehumanize them....
