it means he's officially lost his mind and now only speaks in riddles and randomly assembled phrasing originally intended for LiveOne business conferences & industry-related Corgan conversations

No idea. I doubt there's room in their tour plans anyway for Oceania songs (tours are going to be all "trilogy" related cinematic celebrations of eras for the next few years)

Oceania is wildly underrated. If it didn't carry the name SP it would be a classic. It's the only time in the past nearly 30 years BC has put ANY effort into making a good album. I still don't get why this album is praised on here universally. The reviews are excellent

I mean, it doesn’t have any hooks or singles and it’s pretty blah.

I’d rather listen to Teargarden than Oceania, but if you want evidence of some bizarre decision making by Corgmeister:

He had Tom Tom, and Owata (butchered but still) just sat there. Nobody really listened to Teargarden, but he didn’t think to re-record them for Oceania? Like he throws away perfectly good material. If he got Jimmy and James, Jeff and Batesy in a room, and they re-recorded most of SP 2.0 material with SP 1.0 style production then there would be a ton of decent material worth praise.

I'd also tack Lightning Strikes onto that list. That was a highlight of the 2011 show that I saw in Vegas.

Which, in looking back, was a great show. Sure, it was Mikey - but still. That setlist held major water.

I went to the Oceania warmup show in Tulsa, with Mikey, still a top 5 concert
