I will own up to it...I actually like "Anti-Hero". I thought it was the best song on Monuments. I was surprised it got so much hatred from just about everywhere.

I almost voted for Marchin' On for that purpose. Other than Rubin's production, it's the closest Billy has come to a song that sounds like it could have come from old SP.

I don't find Anti-Hero super chuggy throughout. It reminds me of garage rock, especially the guy+girl theme. It's my least favorite MTAE track, though. Sorry madcap

Beguiled for me. Riff is a banger and it’s a catchy song. I didn’t like She Stabs the Empty Cock and I found Empahs to be an incredibly trite Muse knock off. Harmageddon is just not enjoyable in any way either.

Are we defining chugger as “song with palm muted guitar” or…? For SP2 I’ve always thought the Doomsday Clock riff totally slammed though it doesn’t really have any muting.

Wait, how is Ugly a chugger?! Not in any sense! Palm-muting is not the only qualifier here, right? Doomsday Clock is way more of what I'd consider a chugger than Ugly.

Here’s what I think of as a chugger- palm muted, mostly drone note, with a steady 8th note rhythm, 16th note rhythm, or consistent pattern of 8th and 16th notes that repeat. Not always a definable riff.. it just chugs along. Like a train. Chugga chugga chugga chugga
