Default Unchained Melody

I downloaded several versions of that song tonight, and though I didn't know it by its title, I was pleased to see that it was a song I knew and liked after all

But... does anybody know who is the original artist/what is the original version of it? I got versions of The Platters, The Righteous Brothers, Bill Hurley and Elvis Presley... but there are dozens of people who covered it lol

Random factoid: My grandpa once requested that song in a club for my grandma, and they danced on it. I find that extremely romantic

The Righteous Brothers were the original artists.

Wrong. They were the first famous version. It's a standard, written in the 40's.

I'm infatuated with the Ours cover of it.

Surprise, surprise.
