Default Jakob / The Austerity Programm / Isis

what an evening...jakob really really were awesome, and isis are such a poweeful band it's nearly breathtaking.

the austerity programm on the other hand is just to much noise. that half hour felt like 2

they're still touring europe, so if you get a chance to see them, do it.

good, man.

you should check out a band called called HDU (High Dependency Unit), kinda similar to Jakob and also from NZ.

i really ahve a problem with bands who use a drum computer live. i mean sure, it was programmed nearly perfectly, but especially in this kind of music i admire the drummer most, and i'm sure there are people who can pull this off...plus the guy can't really sing, and after half an hour your ears begin to bleed and it gets tiresome. i'm not saying they are bad, just a tad above of what i'm willing to take...

oh, btw: my pics from the show:

sometimes i really wish the light-tech would indeed use that lights who are supposed to illuminate the band. especially the ones from the front. shooting this gig was a nightmare
