This YouTube channel has been uploading unreleased demos of some new songs, but it's hard to tell how legit

I only listened to a bit of the Spaniards but it sounds legit. Definitely Billy’s vocals and you can recognize those same drum fills that Jimmy does on every song and Jeff’s aimless noodling.

Billy sounds very out of tempo on The Spaniards, it makes me think something put this together using different sources

Listened to the other two, these all sound real. There wouldn’t be any other sources to put something like this together and who would go to that effort for some little known SP tracks?

The band played those songs live tho

They just uploaded shadowland as "unreleased home demo", but the audio was taken from that TV doc about Billy writing TbK

I doubt this is from a studio.

Sounds like a live rehearsal or something.

Think I can hear female backing vocal during the chorus of Spaniards.

My guess, either a live rehearsal or soundcheck from around 2016.

As for Cardinal, didn’t that leak years ago on here?

BOB sounds a lot like JC but somehow not quite, maybe in the intricacies of the tom fills or something. never heard his ride sound like that, especially recently

Spaniards sounds kinda like Burns tbh

even if this is some dunce in his bedroom these demos are easily, easily in top 20 SP since 2000

Spaniards sounds like Jimmy drumming to me. He’s done that same fill over and over on every song he plays forever. Formulaic Jim.

Spaniards is a top 20 SP song when played like this. So disappointed it went to the solo work and was a very muted and quiet song. Any time they play it live they let it rip and it kills every time.

Is the Amarinthe vocal take different to Ogilala? I can’t tell but it gets out of sync with the music at times which is odd even for a demo. So are we thinking Tommy Lee or Byrne? Doubtful it’s Jimmy based on the age of the songs and the drum sound.
