They should make a live record
every new SP release has the same flaws - shitty production, the good songs that are there are ruined in the studio
JC always raves in interviews about his jazz records -- they're 30 minutes long, it takes 30 minutes to make! _________ Corgan: write 10 songs band: rehearse the 10 songs band: book a show at [wherever they think has the best acoustics] band: play the 10 songs, record and release them fans: get a better record just like the glass house show |

A pointless excursion now with all the readily available show streams and bootlegs. Not to mention Billy can’t sing well for the duration of a live show. It would have to be doctored up big time.

The time when they should have done it was the MCIS tour. A double live album would’ve been a great stopgap release. They did record Live From the Dark Globe which is cool but I can see why it wasn’t released. Billy’s vocals were ragged sounding and he flubbed lyrics.

yeah you're better off just grabbing the highest-quality modern-era bootleg my man
if they did an official one you know it'd just be over-doctored & post-produced in the same way they been doing the albums for years now |
