I'd definitely go if he were doing an acoustic set

I mean I've seen Chamberlin in that setting twice. Only fair.

I'd probably request Jupiter's Lament. Or Real Love

There was a place called "Pumpkin Studios" in Illinois before the Smashing Pumpkins ever existed.
You can see already on the outside, where the name came from...

Founded in the seventies by the former lead singer of "The American Breed", Gary Alexander Loizzio. "Bend Me, Shape Me", SMASH Me:

I wonder if blacks will be allowed at Madame ZooZoo's 2.0 and if it will be fully mixed and integrated or whether Billy will keep things separated

His people and cars site was actually pretty cool. Definitely a unique and interesting concept. I actually enjoyed his spiritual blog too. Seemed like stuff he was very passionate about whereas I get the feeling that he's kinda just going through the motions in regards to his Pumpkins obligations.

Typical of Billy to re-issue Zuzu’s before Machina.

I'm actually impressed that he's opening it up again. I was assuming with utmost certainty that once the initial store closed that he wouldn't be reopening and that the plans for a new store would be yet another project buried deep down in the Billy Corgan bottomless pit of plans that went unfulfilled.

purchasing “vintage” paraphernalia out of a sense of imagined nostalgia, autographing it, and hawking it online for personal profit?

If ZuZu's did bubble tea kiosks in pretty much any major city, Corgan might make back those lost wrestling dollars and free up his musical side for some artistic work.

You're thinking of the Madame ZuZu's online store. People+Cars was the site where he'd buy old photo albums from the 50's, 60's and 70's and showcase the best pictures out of the bunch. He actually featured a lot of really cool images, the kind of documentation of a bygone era that you can't easily come across these days.

I assume the Tea Shop is more of a passion project than a real attempt at making good money. I remember someone posted a photo of the front of the shop and he had these REALLY terrible store hours... I'm talking only open 8 hours a day somedays. Definitely know way to run a sustainable shop

Do you think there’s a chance of 25th anniversary MCIS show at the new ZuZu’s?

Yeah, I'm sure he'll do something for it. But that's not the kind of presentation that I was speculating about

I saw Took online earlier today, perhaps you could spread the word to folks who were concerned that something may have happened to him!

That was essentially my point.

I was suggesting that he make The Smashing Pumpkins a passion project rather than the artless exercise in recouping lost suplex dollars it clearly is.
