It's amazing to me that a board for discussing the Smashing Pumpkins, one of the most diverse and innovative rock bands in the world shows so much disdain for the band trying anything that diverts from the Gish / Siamese Dream sound.

Starz is an awesome song. The drums are amazing, the lyrics are nice, the guitar is cool. The vocals suit the song/lyrics.

Starz would be good if not for the shitty lyrics and billys horrible vocals in the song.

The drumming at the end is great though.

Thats The Way just fucking sucks and is the worst song on the record.

I'm re listening to Zeitgeist do to this thread and Thats The Way is on now. The only good part of the song is where the solo kicks in, everything before that is terrible.

and if it wasn't for stellar and gossamar, probably my fave of the zeitgeist era

i hated thats the way, really fucking hated it. but the live acoustic version of it was really good actually, suprised me
