On the other hand, you don't see him professing any love for zippity zoop whack ass prog rock that changes key and time signatures every three seconds

Yeah we're trying to have a serious discussion here and you interrupt with your off topic posts about favorite guitar players.

I'm a huge Rush fan. But aside from them I've never really gotten into much prog.

I'm also a huge Deep Purple fan, I guess they have little prog influences incorporated into their music too.

Most rock guys are into all this lame music like Mumford and Sons, Awol Nation, Imagine Dragons and shit like that these days. Both of my local modern rock stations are filled with it.

I think I'm actually more of a throwback as far as my rock music tastes go. Just a lot of the alternative 90's rock, punk, heavy metal, pop-punk, 80's pop rock ETC.

I never really listen to the Beaties much outside of driving, but when they come on the radio I'm always happy to hear em.

Never really even checked em out to be honest... Aside from maybe the odd time that the radio played one of their mid-90's track or something.

He's been doing this to all the old guard posters, it's part of his mission to liberate the board from the oppressive tyranny of you/me/****/CAIC/Eulogy. He's a message board Che Guevara dontcha know.

Well there was always this kind of dynamic.

I mean we raged against the tyranny of the Nimrod Confederacy. Poots and fuzzyroses would have been very happy then.

maybe i forgot this knowledge but i completely forgot that spiritualized is/was the guy from spaceman 3.

i think i just had a bad introduction to that group but if you pick up on them when/where spacemen 3 leave off it's amazing. i'm looking to pick up a copy of pure phase but apparently the reissues are shit.

Forgot what a great guitarist he really is.

Also never had heard the solo album before, Several Shades of Why. Love it, I'm a sucker for acoustic guitar.
