This performance fucked. The mix was great, the guitars sounded great, Bill’s vocals were good.

That's the best they've sounded on TV in a very long time.

It sounded really good. One of their best TV performances in a long, long time. His vocals were WAY better than the album version.

Sounds like those 80s movie scenes where the lead character trains to fight with the bad guys.

i've genuinely been jamming it on repeat all day. the fact that the riff goes nowhere and is repetitive sort of adds to that, in a way

The prechorus is definitely cool. The verse/refrain is lame. I get it, this is part of a "rock opera" which means every song is allowed to be a half-assed unconventional song. Surely there will be some good ones out of 33.

Wow, his vocals sounded great and even had that 90s snarl in a few spots. The guitars actually sounded like 90s fuzz. Wtf happened? Why does this always happen
Other than the stupid makeup this is the best they’ve sounded on late night in forever. Come a long way from the Mormon choir. |

This song sounds like zero walking into a grimy bathroom right before it does coke. And then zero is this song on coke.

I guess I'm outnumbered here but this doesn't sound that much better than the studio version to me. Still boring.

I agree with everyone that voice/mix/guitars sound a bit better, but not enough to overcome the problems with the actual song. It's not an actively horrible song, but it doesn't do anything for me. |
