Yeah after I thought about it more I figured it was best to assume as much and I’m glad to see that was the correct approach. I think I was just projecting my own fears about how people will respond onto you for no particular reason and I do want to apologize for that. I did genuinely mean what I said. I tend to avoid saying things directly so I really do appreciate you giving me the opportunity and encouragement to do so

My immediate area is absolute garbage unfortunately but I am working on building a community to turn to when I need it. I know that will be very important. And I get to leave this trash town very soon and return to a city where things will certainly be much easier

An excellent and difficult question. Favorite: fresh basil, mushroom, and bell pepper I think? It feels wrong not to put pepperoni in there but basil is an absolute must and I can’t bring myself to drop either of the others, so. Least favorite: I mean I’m not one of those crusaders against pineapple on pizza but I like most pizza toppings so this one by default is near the bottom of my list. Does barbecue sauce count? Fuck barbecue chicken pizza. I think these are the only two I can really think of that I tend to avoid. Even still I’d eat them both pizza is great

Regarding pepperoni, the older I get the less I appreciate it. It usually adds a layer of unwanted grease, overwhelms the other ingredients and is a bitch to digest. Gimme bacon crumblings over pepperoni any day of the week. |

Am I a heathen if I often just order cheese pizza? Onions and olives are always good toppings though.

I'm all about the alt-pizzas that have flourished in this neck of the woods.
Favourites include: - chicken pizza with apricot sauce, cream cheese, rosemary and pine nuts - chicken pizza with brie and cranberry sauce - a gourmet edition of the traditional meat lovers with chunks of steak and a barbecue sauce made from a particularly hoppy American Pale Ale |

This is a great question and I'm glad you asked because I think I have a pretty decent answer. I'm not glad I did this and I'm not proud of it except in the worst kind of way but I am still kind of impressed that I pulled it off.
At my high school everyone had to do a senior project to graduate. It was meant to be an exploration of a possible career path. You were supposed to log a verifiable forty (I think? I may be remembering this wrong) hours of work, write a paper discussing what you'd done, and then create a final presentation. I wish I could tell you how this idea came to me but what I decided to propose was a psychological analysis of drug addiction. I suggested that I would interview drug addicts who were currently or had previously been in treatment and try to come up with some sort of theory about which environmental factors might lead to an increased likelihood of substance abuse. Of course, however, I could never violate the privacy of my interview subjects, so the interviews would all be completely anonymous and only I would know the true identity of my subjects. Someone how this idea was approved and then it became a creative writing project. I invented a number of characters, gave them different backgrounds and drugs of choice, and wrote up fabricated interviews which I then used to support the theory upon which I based the paper, which I'm sure I'd already decided upon ahead of time. The final presentation was done at the end of year in front of a panel of four teachers. I got high in the parking lot and then went in and improvised mine. They liked it enough to ask me to do it again on camera so that it could be used as an example to show future students. So I tried my best to hit all the same main points and it worked out. I ended up receiving the maximum number of points possible. After typing this out I'm sort of hesitant to post it because I'm afraid it comes across as bragging, but it's an honest answer. To be clear, I now wish I would have actually done the project and learned something from it instead of sitting around smoking weed all the time but it took me a while to figure out what my real priorities were |
