I met this dude, Austin, in jail. He was a heroin addict and was cutting himself with whetted plastic spoons (wtf?) in the shower (the only private place).

Anyways, he was totally into Gorrilaz. I told him about Blur. He had no idea Damon had another band. Blew his mind lol.

Later we met again in jail as inmate workers. He was going to prison for manslaughter. Shot up with a guy who ODed. Apparently he procured the heroin.

of course. self titled and beyond are most def their best. but the early stuff has its charms as well.

Worth checking the deluxe editions of

Modern Life Is Rubbish
Parklife
The Great Escape
Blur
13

All five of these albums are bangers inc the b-sides.

Music is my Radar, Puritan, West Way are decent singles.

Think Tank should’ve been an EP:
Ambulance
Out of Time
Sweet Song
Good Song
Battery in Your Leg

Think Tank and Magic Whip are not proper Blur albums in that the full band weren’t working on them. MW, the band scrubbed up demos in Damon’s absence and then presented it for him to record lyrics, which is why it seems off even though it was a “comeback” record.

Yeah 13 was massively underrated by the UK music press.

Never been fully on board with their s/t, but it's my least listened to.

Great Escape was the first album I ever bought and I enjoy it from beginning to end, but cannot view it objectively. We discussed this like... a few months ago. We'll be back on to Weezer and Coldplay next.

Think Tank fucking rules what are you "knobheads" talking about

i love Graham but i could care less that he's not on that album barring one or two tracks, it still sounds so GOOD

I bought four of the individual reissues for like half the price and downloaded the rest, please don't tell the FBI. They come in boxes* whereas the set is just slips. But they are very nice.

I was into Think Tank at the time, but man is a lot of that hard going, ifyouknowwotimean.

*like Took's dad, possibly

I guarantee Billy still reads and/or participates in this forum.

He looks at the fan response to every decision/announcement he makes and this is the #1 Source of Online Pumpkins Opinions.

Do you think WPC is interested in your "opinion"? He is too busy making transendlucent art to care about a NOBODY like you.
