I would assume the best audio on Gossamer is If All Goes Wrong?

I still feel this way, even though popular opinion is now to laud Zeitgeist in comparison to the past decade of shitty SP music. But it's Zeitgeist that really ushered in these countless disappointments and signaled the death of this band's enjoyable output. The album is aptly named.

No "best version" of As Rome Burns or "perfect" track sequence is saving this pile of shit

In order to mix and master anything you’d have to have to the stems.

Eq’ing mixed and mastered audio is kinda…not how it works.

(Sorry to be a buzz kill. It’s Netphoria. Good luck with shitegeist.)

yes. i'm using stems generated using ai. the technology is fast evolving and sounds miles better right now than it has in years previous, and getting better steadily. it's effective for making simple changes like levelling the vocals and balancing levels between instruments.

There are some really, really great tools out there now. The Beatles stuff moving forward is all 5.1 from glued sources. It's getting to a point where in 5 years we'll be able to do anything with audio on the same level of Photoshop.

everyone hates the production on zwan but zeitgeist sounds literally exactly the same... blown out as fuck for no reason
For some reason I popped ZWAN into my car's CD player for the first time since like 2005 and was surprised to find it listenable if you turn the treble down

what the fuck is up with the Jesus lyrics though? Is this a Christian Rock album?

I would suggest that you give up. Best you can do is reduced vocals mix. Unless you can remove the Million Bolly Choir from BTO and Rose March or put something interesting in place of the Whale Noises in United States

coming out of the shadows to agree.

The Cafe de la Danse show is fuckin nice. Even the Paz vocals aren't abrasive as hell
