Default Best Adore tour show?

Other thread about CD release wishlists got me thinking - what's the best Adore era tour show/recording? ie: best sounding + best quality.

Atlanta?

Is there a better one?

Those shows were weird as all get out, but also pretty great. Been too long since I'v listened to one in full, this seems like a great excuse to do as such, or to visit a show I've never enjoyed before at the behest of you, fine citizens.

the foreign ones before the album came out stand out in my head

Guggenheim maybe

Don't have a definitive date. A lot of those are available as SBD

I also prefer the earlier shows they played at the start of the tour (Hamburg, Lisbon, Genova, etc) which are all available in good quality.

The tour was pretty consistent though.

A full release of this https://spcodex.wiki/The_Smashing_Pumpkins_1998-09-18 would be amazing.

Yeah the Euro shows in May were the best overall. Atlanta and Houston were two of the best US shows of the tour.

Aerial Theatre has my vote.

The Transmission jam is particularly great here. Nascent HMM riff.

What a waste of great locations that was

The nerve to go out on a world tour and not be playing your 5-year-old songs

Yes. I will never get over missing that show. I got to Kroger’s at 5am for tickets. Waited for hours and was first in line. Then the mfers said they were doing a lottery. So of course I got screwed. Got up to the counter finally and the girl said “sorry it’s sold out”.

Post London 5/23

I went to the London show at a fairly small venue before the album came out and the energy was amazing. Most of it is available it good quality because it was filmed for TV. Billy blew the crowd a kiss at the end - good times.

My vote goes towards the Hamburg show and maybe the much music intimate and interactive show

You would look good in them just saying. Maybe like not skinny jeans but one step away and a plaid button up

Atlanta and Athens, Greece @ Lycabettus Theater

Athens show has a killer version of Shame, probably the best one they played.

Was unaware of this show - setlist is something else, especially given how narrow of a menu of songs they were choosing from for that tour.

Inspired me to listen to that sixth disc of the Adore deluxe - which I own - but I'm not sure I've ever listened to all the way thru.

Going thru the SP codex concert list, I've noticed Billy and Darcy played 61 shows, but James played only 60. Do we know which one he didn't play and why?
