Dogue
“The $75 tasting menu might sound like nothing new, with its hand-cut filet mignon tartare and poached quail eggs, but one new eatery has a unique selling point — it caters only to canines.
Dogue opened in the hipster Mission district of San Francisco — where it is said there are more dogs than children — and is serving up French-inspired pastries to sophisticated dogs. Other offerings on the menu ******* $4.75 “dogguccinos” and a rose-shaped cake made of wild venison heart and organic beetroot. The menu is available only on Sundays and is seasonal. This week the appetiser was chicken and chaga mushroom soup, while the second course was a chicken skin waffle and charcoal flan. The main was a hand-cut, grass-fed filet mignon with a quail egg and organic broccoli sprouts.” |
