That was surprisingly tasteful. I guess ever since the Leno Choir Widow Debacle (yes it's a proper noun, that's how bad it was) I've always expected the worst.

Wilk has no groove whatsoever. Terribly laggy throughout

WTF was Brad Wilk doing???...that was an awful performance by him...no pocket whatsoever.
He always looks (and often sounds) like he's struggling when he plays SP songs. |

I know it is hard to believe because Billy is in no way a control freak but MAYBE, MAYBE some of you will realize that billy is telling brad how exactly he wants him to play, you know just like he did byrne!

Fingers are still crossed he gives us the Machina Mystery. The last good piece of work Billy did. It had a shit ton of potential.

he sounds like this on a lot of RATM stuff too...he's always in front of the beat while everyone is used to JC playing behind it / in the pocket

Performing behind Mumford and Sons and the XX at Glastonbury 2013 should've been the final signal for Billy to quit. But no, there's more mud to drag the name thru

DRUM+FIVE on FELLON wasn't a felony, it was CHARMIN'...! Still the only MOMENT (Howard Stern's nice blooper) To An Elegy that could last as a reminder of the album.

Gotta jump the bandwagon and say Brad didn't sound too good here. Sorta confirms what I bet a lot of people were thinking, which is that Billy wanted him in the band because he's a high profile player, not because he fits in with the style of the band.
Also, does Jimmy Fallon call everyone's album who plays in the show critically acclaimed? According to Metacritic at least, Momuments got worse reviews than Oceania even. |

it received great critical acclaim from billy corgan, who attested that there was "no one on earth who actually thought it was a 3-star record"
