Jimmy's Drums / Zeitgeist
Just from listening to the Paris boot... focusing specifically last time on the new songs, how many people think Zeitgeist COULD be Jimmy's best SP album.
Okay, i know that's prolly saying a lot, so maybe not "best"... but what i mean is... is it just me or does it seem like (if properly produced) Jimmy's drums on Zeitgeist are gonna be beyond fucking awesome? |

I thought the drums on the studio recording of Tarantula were kind of bland compared to what Chamberlin has done in the past. However, when he plays that song live it sounds great.
We'll see when the album is released. |

The studio version of Tarantula was mixed rather poorly, and Jimmy's drumming can barely be heard. Live however he's been kicking ass.

...After listening to Tarantula again, I suppose it's mixed a little better than what I had in my mind when I wrote that last post. He definitely can be heard, but I still think that his drumming is a bit more prominent in older Pumpkins recordings.
