Question Has anyone ever taken a vitamin for weight gain?

My family in Honduras has sent me a couple of things to try but I don't think they are very effective.

Im 5'10" and weigh about 130 naked and I'm sick of being scrawny.

If so, what did you take and how did it work?

well im skinny but not that skinny. i'd say it comes from not eating very much as well as not exercising.

so..what the jesus said. you're not gonna gain any weight that isn't fat if you're not pumping iron. doesn't ucf have a gym that's free to students?

yessir, i did that for awhile but i wasnt gaining any weight. I guess i can do it with protein shakes but its not like I eat healthy or anything. I should gain weight instead of constantly fluctuating between 125-135.

yeah, this is what i try and do.

is your weight low due to a high metabolism? how much do you eat currently? a simple fact is you're going to have to increase your intake of food to gain weight

there used to be a site called skinnyguy.net that had workout and diet recommendations for skinny guys trying to bulk up. i was never able to eat quite as much as they recommedned, it was 6x a day. not entire full meals all 6 times, but still, it was so much more food. and of course, the type of food, and the right exercises

the phelps diet



Breakfast

Phelps kick starts his day and his metabolism with three fried-egg sandwiches, but with a few customised additions: cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, fried onions and, of course, mayonnaise.

Amuse-bouche out of the way, he throws back two cups of coffee and sits down to an omelette - containing five eggs - and a bowl of grits, a porridge of coarsely ground corn. He's not finished yet. Bring on the three slices of French toast, with powdered sugar on top to make sure there's no skimping on the calories. And to finish: three chocolate chip pancakes.

Lunch

With breakfast wearing off and the hunger pangs biting, Phelps downs half a kilogram - ie a whole packet - of enriched pasta and two large ham and cheese sandwiches. On white bread with loads of mayo on top. To remove any chance that his body will run out of fuel, he washes this down with about 1,000 calories of energy drink.

Dinner

Time to load up on carbs for the next day's training. Another half kilo of enriched pasta goes down the hatch with a chaser of an entire pizza and another 1,000 calories of energy drinks. And so to bed.

youre 6'4"? and like 150?

I eat at least three good meals a day if not more, usually things that arent all that healthy. Im going to go with the whey protein and maybe up my marijuana intake to increase munchies.

No really, get some 100% whey protein powder from GNC or something and mix a scoop of it into a glass of milk one or two times a day. Also drink it right after a work out. If you're really desperate to gain weight, try creatine.

seriously though.. you can also try to drink protein shakes, . like you said whey.. "muscle milk" I think is an ok one that they are selling more regularly in most stores now.. it tastes horrible though.. chalk to be more specific .. but it definitely helps

You can get it flavored. The chocolate flavor makes milk taste like ...well, chocolate milk.
