Last week, 2/3 of DNC staff was laid off with little notice and no severance. We are heartbroken to see our colleagues—who dedicated countless hours to electing Democrats up and down the ballot—depart under these circumstances, and we are furious with DNC leadership for failing to provide severance to those affected.

Since I am on principle against banning people just for having shitty conservative opinions, I'd only be okay with him being banned if it was specifically for the anti-Semitic stuff he expressed back before he started hiding his power levels and was more comfortable expressing that stuff, rather than for just being stupid generally. Stupidity and bad-faith arguing, in themselves, should not be bannable offenses. Only stuff like legit harassment and clear bigotry should be, imo (and it should be clear bigotry, as in the person actually denigrated people based on race/class/sex/whatever, rather than just inferred bigotry, like "this person probably hates brown people and gays because of his enthusiastic Trump support").

But idk, it's not like this forum actually has an explicit TOS other than "people get voted off the island when we get sick of their shit." Maybe a rulebook any more concrete than that would feel ridiculously formal for how few of us there are.
