i was actually interviewed by a danish TV crew during trump 1. they came to my red state to show how stupid trump voters are. they specifically asked me about buying greenland and i said sure why not, probably would be good to have with climate change and everything. they said "you can't just buy a country, no?" and i asked them how denmark got it. they said they didn't know. then they turned off the camera and i said sorry i hope that was ok and they said oh no it was great. i don't know if i ever made danish TV.

I for one am looking forward to a world split between three empires, 1984-style. Russia takes Ukraine, China takes Taiwan, U.S. takes the north and Panama, so we have three perfectly good options for whose rule we prefer.

Maybe one country will win so hard that it gets to take over everything and just fabricate the existence of the other two. my globe arrived. it's great. kind of cheap construction but i could only afford the 30 dollar one. it's good enough. you can see everything on there. i mounted it in a corner of the living room using two bungee cords, a piece of baling twine, and a couple little pieces of cedar i cut out on the scroll saw. right now i am gazing at the pacific, grave of the doomed pequod. tomorrow when i wake up i'll give it a spin and see where i end up.

Yes it's unclear. They can tell the people one day that they're at war with Oceania. Then tell them the next day that Oceania is their ally and they are now at war with Eastasia. They can tell the people anything and they'll believe it, because it's just propaganda and control. Maybe there's no war at all. What matters is that people believe what they tell them.

4 years ago Trump wanted Tiktok shut down. He got MAGA sheeple worked up about how dangerous it was. That it was a dangerous Chinese tech company.
