Notable in that you can hear some decent acoustic guitar. Still, just can't with Billy singing these days.

The weird thing about this song and many of the songs on Atum are the transitions. Like it starts off as every other annoying Atum song then suddenly it breaks and the acoustic guitar is there....and then the song kinda just ends.

Ditto The Culling - easily one of the more interesting songs on the album and more in line with my expectations with this project was announced, but it doesn't lead to anything. It kinda just stops.

Intro piano riff is like a flamboyant renaissance fair

Yeah reminded me of some of Damon Albarn's keys on old Blur stuff when he's doing like ragtime or whatever

This is the most surprising track in all of Atum

i listened to it and enjoyed the james-esque guitar but knowing that the rest of the album is just pure pure fucking synth slop, it's hard to even care.

cause you can't get into it. MCIS, you can listen through midnight to dawn, and it's a whole vibe. same for the gigs of the era. it just feels like something.

this feels like nothing. it feels like a fucking macbook

If he’s given up on guests he could at least reduce the runtime a bit.
