Question for you guys about hooking a bank account up to paypal

I just added my Canadian bank account to paypal and I have some questions that I can't find direct answers to on Paypal and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this. I don't plan to transfer a balance into the paypal account, I just want to make ebay payments as they happen (like I did with a credit card), I guess they're calling this electronic funds transfer. I can't tell if they are charging a service fee to do this. One page said they will assess a fee and then I can't find that anywhere else. I was also wondering if your bank has ever charged you for the electronic funds transfer. Any help on paypal-bank account transfers would be appreciated, thanks.

Sweet. I just emailed my bank to ask them if they charge a fee. It's a no-fees account but they charge for stuff like money orders. I think maybe when Paypal said they will assess a fee they meant do the currency conversion, although that is a weird way of putting it.

This will be way easier than using a credit card. Thanks.
