i'll grant martyr that some of the zero disc is "pretty good" but that's not what the standard for CLASSIC is.

My criteria for Classic is that every single goddamn track with the possibility of one exemption is fucking incredible.
  • Siamese Dream
  • Led Zeppelin III
  • Houses of the Holy
  • Let it Bleed
  • ILLMATIC
  • Aquemini
  • Kid A
  • The Bends
  • Mezzanine

etc

i will say that TAFH the song and Set the Ray are two fucking incredible songs though. the rest ranges from good to terrible.

TAFH is the shit. I wouldn't call it a "classic" or anything but I think it would be pretty easy to put together one of my all-time favorite albums from the best tracks. Super easy.

drawing a blank. is there anything else good on that collection? The covers are bad. I listened to the Tonight, Tonight disc maybe twice. I have trouble understanding why Pistachio Melody exists. Seriously, classic my fucking ass. It's just a collection of crap that was cut from an album that needed to be cut in the first place. Holy shit.

I mean seriously have you listened to other music?
It's funny to see how you always take the aggressive approach. Yes, I listen to other music, I have actually made a living out of that by the way.
If you can't find more gems than these four songs (I'm not even gonna count the instrumental) than you're not in the music business for a good reason. thank god. There's the Last Song, which is despite its title a great closer (arguably better than Luna), Meladori Magpie, Pennies (how could u even forget?), Cherry, Rotten Apples (are you tone-deaf?) and Medellia. And if you say God, i say Mouth of Babes and Marquis in Spades.

I have always enjoyed TAFH a lot more than MCIS.

Ahahaha, god knows i love radiohead, but Kid A is a collection of stolen ideas and samples. If you think that's classic, you gotta be a youthfull trotzki. When were you born?

that's like dismissing Cherub Rock because of the Cheap Trick ripoff. Get over yourself.

You can logically call Corgan a lot of things. Thug would not be one of them.

exactly. Billy wrote 50+ songs, (most of which are over 3 minutes long) and way more than 8 of them have a timeless shelf life..

Yeah, it's not that hard to understand. If you think Kid A is very innovative, you're probably too young/ignorant to know Neu!.

And please quit your circular reasoning, it is rather annoying.

Anyone who creates something as engaging and rewarding as Kid A using elements of unknown and crazy underground music that no one listens to is being innovative. Absolute originality is practically a myth these days. Every single musician has influences that can be traced. Innovation is bringing it all together into a song that can knock people's socks off.

I say Led Zeppelin was innovative. By your logic they must be the most unoriginal band in the world.
