funny on youtube i got a copyright claim on this. for a bootleg of a show they've never put out in any way.

Does it say if this was an auto-generated copyright match? Unless they're using brand new technology, my understanding was they were using the same fingerprinting that Shazam and other music ID services use to find a match. I wouldn't be surprised if the band's management filed a claim on this to generate revenue. Since these are not label-owned recordings or using their masters, the record labels should have no copyright claim to these songs, which makes me think management was behind it (to collect publishing royalties).

Every Pumpkins video I upload gets copyright claimed. The only weird one I had was my multicam edit of the WPC solo show in Germany where I got a claim banning it from being shown to anyone in Germany. So damn random.
