- Got my first reverend a few weeks ago. Special black sparkle double agent OG. Great guitar. The case smelled like fucking shit though can't get the smell away. Smells like an old Halloween mask that a mouse died it and sat in the sun. Wish I didn't spend 200 bucks on it.

Dang, I dunno what people see in Reverends. This just sounds like a muddy mess. No definition and articulation at all. Clean tone is lackluster, no warmth or roundness. Could just be the Kemper, but all these Reverend guitars sound like this.

I love my Reverend BC1. It's so much more fun to play than most of my other guitars and that fuckr stay in tune no matter how much I bend.

I've been playing the BC-1 and this Jazz Strat on the right way more than my other 14 lately.

YOUR demo of this guitar is what I really want to see. I'm especially curious how it sounds with the "heavy" songs like "Silverfuck," "Rocket," "Geek USA" etc.

I'd like to hear if it can replicate those delicate tones on the likes of Hummer and Soma. I feel you really need a Strat for that. I can plug in my Strat, clean tone, add some delay and shimmer pedals, and I've pretty much got the sound.

The Reverend BC1 with the Big Muff OpAmp does a pretty good job of replicating a lot of the SD tones. More so than my Strat with Lace Sensor pickups does.

Pay attention to Lace Sensor pickups height. I've found they can go from shit to SD awesomeness and viceversa with the smallest adjustment.

I reached out as soon as i found out they were coming and Ken Haas follows my smashingpumpkinsgear instagram page. He knew i was a massive BC gear nerd so they hooked me up. Awesome company and guitars.
